Our Boulder-CU Leadership Program offers a flexible mentorship opportunity, connecting É«ÊÓÆµÏÂÔØ students with local leaders for personalized guidance that promotes growth, confidence, and purpose. Completion of the program will result in a cord at graduation and a digital recognition badge. Open to all current É«ÊÓÆµÏÂÔØ students.

ÌýÌý Attend the Emerging Leadership Academy
The Emerging Leadership Academy is a low-commitment program building the foundations for leadership skills. Attend as many sessions as you want, earning stackable digital badges for attending sessions on Leading Self, Leading Others, and Leading Change. Offered three times a semester, food included! Open to all current É«ÊÓÆµÏÂÔØ students.
ÌýÌý Leadership Studies Minor
The Leadership Studies Minor (LSM) enables you to develop as a leader.ÌýBy pursuing the LSM you will learn new ways to think about leadership and discover your own leadership strengths. This includes learning skills such as leading project teams, managing conflict, speaking in public, and analyzing complex problems. You will also gain knowledge about collaborative and inclusive leadership, ethical decision-making, and issues of power and privilege. The LSM is a great addition to any major, open to all É«ÊÓÆµÏÂÔØ undergraduate students.

ÌýÌý Peace Corps Prep Certificate
Housed within the Center for Leadership,ÌýPeace Corps PrepÌýis an undergraduate certificate program offering future U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer applicants sector-specific job skills, foreign language proficiency, intercultural competence, and professional leadership development skills. As an official Peace Corps Prep Program, earning the certificate is excellent preparation, and a likely advantage, for future Peace Corps Volunteer applicants. Open to all current É«ÊÓÆµÏÂÔØ students.

ÌýÌý Receive access to a professional leadership coach
The CFL Coaching Program is limited to 30 students each semester. Students will be partnered with a professional leadership coach for the fall or spring semester. Students will receive approximately 10 hours of coaching during the semester at no financial cost (a $5,000 to $10,000 value). Advocate to your leadership program director to nominate you for this experience!
ÌýÌý Learn about becoming a Newton Leadership Fellow
The Newton Fellowship Program is designed to recognize and develop É«ÊÓÆµÏÂ﯉۪s most exceptional student leaders. This unique fellowship brings together top students from across Center for Leadership affiliates, offering a transformative leadership development experience. Through our Fellows program, participants cultivate and strengthen their leadership capacities within the CFL’s distinctive blend of a cohort model, specialized training, experiential learning intensives, and individual coaching, while also receiving financial support and exclusive networking opportunities. Affiliate program directors nominate students to apply who demonstrate character, a commitment to making positive changes within their campus or community, and a growth mindset.
